All of the Iris I sell are young, vigorous specimens, specially cultivated here in the nursery.

 

 
Iris fulva (Copper Iris)

This unusual American species has wonderful copper- red flowers in June-July.

 
  • Approximate height: 60cm (2 feet)
  • Recommended water depth over pot: 0-10cm (0-4 inches)

 

 

 
Iris laevigata varieties (Japanese Water Irises)
   
This group of irises is probably the most suitable for the average pond, as they rarely exceed 2 feet in height and do not spread too vigorously. All are easy to grow and have single or double flowers  in May/June.
 
 

Iris laevigata (Japanese Water Iris)

Available Summer

   
The natural form, having bright blue flowers with a cream splash in the centre of each petal.

Iris laevigata 'Monstrosa'

Available Summer

   
A very striking form with double white flowers, heavily mottled with purple. Outstanding but rarely available.

Iris laevigata 'Snowdrift'

A beautiful double white.

As the natural form, except with wonderful green and white striped leaves all season.
